What's New

Save TAP
The Autism Program (TAP) at Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago will reinstate limited services at our Chicago and Rockford TAP Service Centers until June 30, 2015. Your action is urgently needed to advocate for fiscal year 2016 funding.
Early Intervention
The proposed FY 2016 budget would cut $23 million from EI. The Administration is proposing to increase the level of a developmental delay from 30% to 50%, which would deny access to EI for thousands of children in Illinois. Easter Seals operates two EI programs in Chicagoland.
Dental Program
The proposed FY 2016 budget presented to the Illinois General Assembly would eliminate the Dental Program at Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago. Since 1965, the Dental Program has provided a comprehensive array of dental care services for people with developmental disabilities.
Child Care Assistance Program
Urge the Governor and the General Assembly to work together for a long-term solution to fully fund CCAP for 160,000 children in working families in Illinois. Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago operates two Child Development Centers and supports 19 private childcare centers.
