Year-end Giving - Celebrating a Transformational Year

Happy Holidays

As you know, Easterseals Central California (ESCC) has been an integral part of our community as a leader in disability services since 1947. I’m honored to have just completed my one-year anniversary as the Executive Director of ESCC. This has been an incredibly rewarding and transformational year. I’m excited to share that we’ve expanded our programs, increased staffing to meet the ever-growing demands of our clients and are actively providing services in three new counties; just to name a few of the highlights. Evidence of our mission-at-work is reflected in the COMMUNITY IMPACT SNAPSHOT.

Disabilities touch the lives of all ages, races and economic backgrounds; in fact, one-in-every five people is affected by a disability. There are nearly 21,000 children ages 1-to-12 right here in Central California currently receiving disability services. Plus, the latest data from the CDC reports 1-in-68 children has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (reported 2012, this number is expected to increase by the next report, due spring, 2017).

Thanks to donors like you, our programs and services continue addressing the varied needs of our clients and their families. One hundred percent of your support remains in our local community and directly enhances the lives of children, adults and veterans, living with disabilities.

We continue to make great strides in realizing the ESCC mission in the communities we serve, but there is more work to be done. Please join us in #CelebratingAbilities by DONATING TODAY by mail or online. Every gift makes a significant difference in our ability to continue serving families living with disabilities.

Warmest regards,
Scott Webb
Executive Director
