An Evolution of the Easterseals Brand Transformed for Today’s Market – 80+ years in the making

1934 - The Birth of the Seal - In the spring of 1934, the organization launched its first Easter time "seals" campaign to raise money for its services.

1952 - The Lily - a symbol of spring - was officially incorporated into the logo for its association with resurrection and new life and has appeared on each seal since.

1967 - Easter Seals Name Emerges - The overwhelming public support for the Easter time "seals" direct mail campaign triggered a nationwide expansion of the organization and a swell of grassroots efforts on behalf of people with disabilities. The Easter "seal" was so well recognized, the organization formally adopted the name "Easter Seals."

2016 – Easterseals Central California Rebrands – A nation-wide launch brings the organization into the 21st century. Easterseals (formerly two words now merged into one) offers help, hope and answers to more than a million children and adults living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities or special needs and their families each year. Services and support are provided throughout Central California from our various programs. Each program provides exceptional care, training and service that is individualized, innovative, family-focused and tailored to meet specific needs of our clients and families.
