Educational Services

Educational Services provide comprehensive assistance to students, teachers, staff, and related service providers. We support and develop schools and staff with the capacity to assist all students regardless of disability. We offer professional development, training and specialized support across the following categories:

Behavioral: We provide behavioral consultation, training, and ongoing support through highly trained Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA). Our behavioral team offers:

  • Conduct and assist with Functional Analysis Assessments,
  • assistance to school districts in progress monitoring and data driven decision making,
  • ongoing support and staff training to insure fidelity of interventions.

Our Behavior Technicians are certified, trained, and supported to effectively work with a variety of students in classrooms. Ultimately, these technicians assist teachers to achieve maximum instruction for each student.

Instructional: We provide 1:1 instructional aides, and educational consultation for a variety of topics which focus on inclusive practices for teachers utilizing evidence based practices, including but not limited to, Universal Design for Learning, positive behavior classroom management strategies, promoting student independence and self-management.

Language: We provide Sign Language Interpreters which offer 1:1 interpreting for deaf and hard of hearing students.

Medical: We provide Registered Nurses to consult, oversee, and support schools with students who have medical needs. Registered Nurses provide 1:1 medical care to students with diabetes, respiratory issues, G tubes, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy and a host of other medical issues.
Health Aides provide 1:1 care for student health needs and academic support. Health needs can range from mobility assistance to total care (feeding, toileting, transportation assistance, G tube feeding, communication device assistance).

Parent and Community Training: We offer a wide range of customized educational programs for parents, educators, childcare providers and community agencies to promote positive behavior management and fully inclusive environments for all individuals regardless of disability.

Tolerance: Kids on the Block is a fun and engaging puppet presentation for elementary school children which educates and promotes tolerance and inclusion of children with special needs. Following our presentation, we support schools with professional development and lesson plans to help bring this meaningful message to life in the classroom.
