We offer and collaborate with others to offer a variety of adaptive recreation activities for children and adults with disabilities. Activities are held after school, on weekends and during the summer.
"iCan Bike" formerly "Lose the Training Wheels" is a unique 5-day summer program experience to give individuals with disabilities the self confidence to learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle. Using specialized equipment, coaching and encouragement, children will "lose the training wheels!" For individuals with disabilities, learning to ride a bicycle has many benefits, such as increased confidence and self-esteem, inclusion with peers, independent transportation, and most important, increased quality of life through recreation.
