Easterseals Arkansas (ESA) welcomes Zach Lyons as the organization’s new director of Community Services in the Waiver department. Lyons comes to Easterseals with more than 10 years of experience in mental health, IDD/DD community services, corporate America and the private non-profit sectors.

“I am very excited to have Zach Lyons join our team as the Director of Community Services,” said Brad Hagan, Vice President of Adult Services. “It's amazing to have such a talented new member as part of our team. We are doing some exciting work here and I know that his talent and enthusiasm will be invaluable to Easterseals Arkansas.”

Lyons, a 2007 Henderson State University psychology graduate, initially had plans of becoming a therapist after college. That calling led him to the mental health field, where he would discover a much larger passion – helping as many people as possible. Now, he says he is able to do that through an administrative role. “Trust, loyalty and compassion are three words that are very important to me,” Lyons said. “That is what influences my desire to serve others.

Aside from work, Lyons’ main focuses in his life are his faith and his family. He has two children,  Deklyn, 6, and Bowen, 5. Raised and still living in Benton, he attends Tent Builders Church and is a member of the worship team. “Music is a big influence in my life and you'll find me listening to anything from classical to Metallica, Chris Stapleton to Elevation Worship. I also love sports and am a lifelong Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals, and Arkansas Razorbacks fan.”
