Fashion Event Goes Virtual

Following current COVID-19 trends and health advice from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as our local, state and federal officials, Easterseals Arkansas is taking Fashion Event online. This unprecedented pandemic we are living in hit Arkansas the night of Fashion Event – March 12. The flowers were set, the food cooked and the auction displayed. Easterseals officials and the event committee had to make the hard decision to pack up everything and cancel with tentative plans to reschedule later this summer or early fall. 

The virtual live streaming Fashion Event slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, will be very similar in format to the traditional gala, only held in an online format. This shift opens up the event to anyone, anywhere, creating more awareness. Making the event virtual also makes all donations 100 percent tax deductible.

The highlight of the event hasn’t changed. Easterseals children and models will be showcased along with the fabulous store sponsors. During the live stream event, presented by Bank OZK with Presenting Media Sponsor Little Rock Soirée, there will be performances by Boom Kinetic and special appearances from Easterseals models and store sponsors.

Even though the in-person event was canceled, supporters and guests can still help Easterseals Arkansas raise significant funds from the comfort of their own home. For guests who already bought tickets to the originally planned event in March, Easterseals is converting all ticket sales into donations for the event.

Easterseals encourages its supporters to share the event with friends and family. Registration is free, and auction items are available for the bidding from now through the event on June 25. Donations are accepted on the event website as well.
