Max is honored for her dedication

The Multi-Systemic Therapy Institute honors MST staffers for their work and dedication.  Recently, Maxine "Max" Sutton, an Easterseals UCP MST staffer, received the "Whatever It Takes Award."

Max went above and beyond to help others, ignoring her own needs at the time following Hurricane Matthew.  The hurricane had a devastating impact on parts of the east coast of the United States including North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.  Many areas were left flooded leaving many communities with roads closed, homes and businesses damaged, and neighborhoods without power and water.  One of the people affected by the hurricane was Max.  Her neighborhood and community experienced major flooding leaving her displaced.

While dealing with her personal crisis, she continued to assist MST families.  Max worked endless hours to help families get back on their feet again.

Due to her dedication and putting her MST families first, the Multisystemic Therapy Institute awarded her with the high honor of the "Whatever It Takes" Award.  Easterseals UCP is proud of Max.

Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) is a program designed for youth generally between the ages of 12 and 17 who have antisocial, aggressive/violent behaviors and are at risk of out-of-home placement due to delinquency; adjudicated youth returning from out-of-home placement; chronic or violent juvenile offenders; and/or youth with serious emotional disturbances or abusing substances and their families.
