Raleigh, NC, March 23, 2018
We’re celebrating the ninth consecutive year of the Crafting A Better World Campaign with A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts. The goal is to support child wellness, growth and happiness through the first five years of development.
The Easterseals UCP Development Team visited a few North Carolina A.C. Moore stores to show their support for the partnership. Andrew Amodei, Vice President of Development at Easterseals UCP, visited with Beth Davis at the Apex store. This store has already raised $20,000 during the Crafting A Better World Campaign!
Consumers visiting participating A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts stores between now and March 31st can donate $1 at check-out to the Make the First Five Count® initiative, an Easterseals UCP program, to help young children in their communities get the important Easterseals services they need to live happy and healthy lives.
Another visit to a store in Raleigh from the Easterseals UCP Development Team brought smiles of support as a customer was making his donation. Time is running out and Easterseals UCP urges you to visit an A.C. Moore store and support the development of children. Crafting A Better World ends March 31.Why A.C. Moore and EastersealsTogether, A.C. Moore and Easterseals are igniting a movement designed to unite all parents and children through crafts and cause. Easterseals has walked alongside parents and families for almost 100 years. We know that the first five years of a child’s life are the most critical ones for development. Crafting connects, says Angela F. Williams: “Not only are crafts an enjoyable activity for children, simple crafting can also help children learn important skills that affect their overall development. “Crafting is just one of the ways parents can observe their children’s developmental progress.” About A.C.
