Our Services for Children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities:Individual Community Supports/RespiteIndividual Community Supports services enable an individual to acquire and maintain skills that will allow them to function with greater independence in the community. Children's CentersOur Child Development Centers are available to all children from birth through age five. Although Easter Seals UCP is known for its work with children who have disabilities, our children's centers offer inclusive programs for typical learners as well as children with special needs. Our full day, twelve month services provide quality early education and care in developmentally appropriate learning environments that have small teaher to child ratios and highly qualified staff. Autism Spectrum Disorder ServicesWhere early identification and intervention are critical to promote best possible outcomes for all children. Learn more about our Autism Program. Early Childhood Outreach ServicesWe provide early intervention services in home and community settings for infants and toddlers who have disabilities or developmental delays. Early intervention promotes the development of the child while building the strengths of the family. Supports and services focus on helping parents and other caregivers find ways to help the child learn during every day routines and activities. Crisis Prevention & InterventionNC START (Systemic Therapeutic Assessment Respite Treatment) provides crisis prevention and intervention for adults with an Intellectual Disability and/or Developmental Disability and co-occurring complex behaviorial health needs. Clinical teams support individuals and their families. Multi-Sensory EnvironmentThe Yager Group Multi-Sensory Environment (MSE) is an environment designed to stimulate the sense and promote feelings of wellbeing and relaxation.
