What is The Richard & Rae Swirnow Center for Excellence in Training?
A national resource center providing training opportunities in:

Trainings are scheduled on an individual basis by program directors and/or leadership team members. The following trainings are scheduled on an ongoing basis:
 
  1. Veterans Employment Career Workshop
    This workshop is open to all veterans and their spouses, homeless veterans or those at risk of becoming homeless, recently incarcerated veterans, and all National Guard and Reservist servicemembers. Spaces are limited. 
  2. Adult and Senior Care Alzheimer's Support Group
    This support group meets the third week of every month at two locations: The Edward N. and Della L. Thome Adult and Senior Care Center in Baltimore, and the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Adult Day Services in Silver Spring. To RSVP for one of these support groups, please contact Corey Odol (Baltimore), or Liz Klosek (Silver Spring). 

Who Provides the Training?
Training on specific programs is provided by Easter Seals staff and partners.  

Who Can Attend a Training Session?
All training opportunities are open to anyone interested in learning more about caring for loved ones with alzheimer's or other disabilities or special needs, creating useful inter-generational learning environments, and veteran employment and reintegration.
