Inter-Generational Fun in Falls Church

Intergenerational Activity Falls Church

Ruth Young spent more than 40 years as a preschool teacher in the Falls Church community. We were honored to host her and Tracy Browand, the director of the City of Falls Church Senior Center at the Easter Seals Child Development Center of Northern Virginia for some fun and games that spanned the generations. There was story time, arts and crafts, free play, and dancing and singing! All accompanied by the laughs and smiles of everyone in the room.

“Inter-generational programs are so important and beneficial to all," said Tracy. "I am so glad to be involved in this great partnership with Easter Seals.”

"I was very impressed during my visit," said Ruth. "Caring, happy, joyful smiles are found here.”

The children and staff at the Easter Seals Child Development Center of Northern Virginia look forward to seeing Ruth, Tracy and other visitors from the City of Falls Church Senior Center very soon!
