Staff and Friends of Easter Seals Celebrate the Holidays at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Inter-Generational Center

holiday

Friday, December 16, staff, family members, and friends of Easter Seals gathered at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Inter-Generational Center in Silver Spring to celebrate the holidays. Keith Rouse, Activities Director at the Adult and Senior Care Center in Silver Spring, entertained the crowd with his band.

Prizes were given out, an ugly sweater contest was the talk of the night, and Lisa Reeves, President and CEO; and Jon Horowitch, COO, gave remarks before ending the night. Three employees were also recognized for their outstanding work performance, as part of the quarterly employee recognition program.

Easter Seals services are delivered through a network of six sites where participants and their families find support, hope, medical care, and engaging activities. In addition to serving the overall community, Easter Seals places an emphasis on the unique needs of wounded warriors, veterans, active duty military, and their families.
