Larry Bram, SVP of Innovation and Program Development at Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA was in Annapolis on Monday, March 13th to request the final funding from the state of Maryland to complete the expansion and renovation of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Inter-Generational Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The Inter-Generational Center currently houses several programs at Easter Seals, including the Safeway, Inc. Child Development Center, the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Adult Day Services, respite services, and the Veteran Staffing Network. The Inter-Generational Center opened in 2008, and has since served thousands of people with disabilities and special needs and their families throughout the community.

Maryland State Delegate Sheila Hixson (picture above with SVP, Larry Bram), has been a great friend and supporter of Easter Seals for many years, and we greatly appreciate her continued advocacy on behalf of Easter Seals.
